Fright Night remake

Gotta admit. I LOVE the "neighborly chat" clip. LOVE the predatory feel Farrel is getting with the character. I'm tired of seeing sparkling, sensitive damn Vampires.

I'm a big fan of the original, but I think this will be a good movie in its own right.

EVERYONE'S tired of seeing sparkly, sensitive vampires!
Have you seen the direct- to- DVD (Yet still good) movie "Lost Boys: The Thirst"? There's an awesome scene in which Edgar Frog (Feldman's character) rips apart the whole "Sexy vampire" pop culture trend.

Dammit, I can't watch these until I'm home from work.

I'm sure the marketing will take some more jabs at Twilight before it's all said and done. They already do a little of that in the most recent commercial.

If you see the other clips on the right bar they said that they screened the film at the Con, where are the reviews?! I MUST KNOW IF "COME TO ME" WAS IN THE MOVIE!!

Seeing lots of tv spots these days. Looks good.

I've seen some TV spots too, this is looking pretty good so far. Can't wait for August 19th.

I've been reading the set reports from a few websites,

Sounds like Amy keeps the famous "jaws" mouth scene, and Evil Ed is still talking/trying to kill Charlie after he turns into a vamp and half his head is missing.

I cant find any reviews for it anywhere being that there was an early screening for it at SDCC, I wanna know if they kept the damn theme song.

i was having my doubts about this film, but it's actually looking pretty good from all these clips

Saw a free screening tonight, and it was pretty damn good. Colin Farrell was very good, and David Tennant was awesome. There were some pretty "OH S**T!!!" moments in it, and overall, I think it did a good job of offering a different take on the story. Anton Yelchin was very good as Charlie, as well.

The audience clapped when [BLACKOUT]Chris Sarandon showed up as a random motorist![/BLACKOUT]

How much screentime do you think Tennant has?

I watched it and it was ok. Definitely some good parts. Still a huge fan of the original.

I have only one question, Ken.
Does Tennant live or die?

Well, is "come to me/dream window" in the movie?!!!!!! I MUST KNOW!! :wall:

I'll try to see the original as well as it's sequel the day before I go see this. I'm glad to hear so far the remake is pretty good.

Read some reviews for it online...

"Come to Me" is NOT in the new movie. Bastards.

:(
