I think Girl Meets World should be the template for the Full House reboot. GMW has Cory and Topanga as the parents, but older characters from Boy Meets World have shown up in guest appearances (Alan and Amy, Shawn, Joshua, Mr. Feeney and Eric, Mr. Turner, Minkus, Angela) but the focus is on Cory and Topanga's daughter.

John Stamos is calling out the Olsen twins for claiming that they didn’t know about the sequel series before it was announced. Or, at least he’s calling out reports of them claiming they didn’t know. It’s not entirely clear, but one thing’s certain: Uncle Jesse’s angry — so angry that he’s resorting to salty language.
