'Will and Grace' Revival Officially a Go at NBC
The Will & Grace revival will consist of 10 episodes and bring stars Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes back to the network, with the series set to bow during the 2017-18 broadcast season. They are joined by original series creators David Kohan and Max Mutchnick, and all had to ink new deals with Universal Television for the revival. (Hayes has a long-standing relationship with Universal TV, having developed several series for the studio, including NBC's Grimm and Hollywood Game Night.) James Burrows, who directed every episode of the show during its initial run, will return in the same capacity. Kohan and Mutchnick will again serve as showrunners.
aka the only way I'll ever be drawn back to a multicamera sitcom in this day and age.

Interesting. I'd never thought a sitcom would ever have me talking about timeline and continuity issues, but here it is. I wonder how they are going to rationalize this vis a vis the original show's ending.

Probably use the Newhart ending as a beginning, where the whole flashforward thing was a dream and they really resolved their issues not long after having the kids.

Maybe their kids will be retconned out of existence, thanks to the machinations of Mephisto. Crossover into MCU confirmed!

Like they said in an episode once, the show should've been called Jack & Karen since they were more interesting & hilarious.

But I'm looking forward to this too, loved the show back when it was on the air and some of the guests that were on it too, like Kevin Bacon and Matt Damon.

Lol, fantastic trailer. Assuming there is at least some continuity with the way the first series ended, the dynamic should be interesting. Jack is now a rich man of leisure, Rosario presumably is his housekeeper, and Karen is his pet. Grace can become more of a sociopath as she gets older, and Will is still Will.

Literally the only one who looks like they've aged since the show ended is Jack and that's just BARELY.

Will & Grace revival renewed for season 2

Wow.

Anyone watch? Unfortunately my Thursday's are overloaded, so I'm recording the Saturday rerun.

I did and it was good. It was like the show just went on hiatus yesterday.

And it opened to HUGE ratings which is great.

I found it funny. I'm hoping the show returns to stories about the characters over their politics. It felt like an extended part 2 version of the "Vote Honey" skit they did.

I thought the second episode way miles better than the premiere if they keep the focus on the fab four, they surely will hit gold.

Are they filming each episode the Tuesday before it airs? It's been very on point with whats been happening in the media.

They must be filming it at least a week before or so. They don't air promos after the episode is done and even this episode had a reference to something that just happened. They could just be psychic.
