Didnt know where to put this but i sure it will be answered quickly.

OK as a kid i had a video of Transformers it was feature lenght but im sure it wasnt "the movie"

All i remember was it started on Cybertron and Starscream and the other jets looked like flying tents and they ended up on Earth in a yellow(?) ship anyway there were a few human charaters in it who wore hard hats and the one other part i remember is when a Dam blows and the red van (iron hide?) has to drive in a circle shootin the floor to create a big moat.

Id just like to know what is the name of this movie is or episode and where i could fine out more about it?

Cheers

Yeah that's the pilot "More Than Meets the Eye", and we never actually see Starscream as a "flying tent". The character bears the same color scheme, but his voice is strikingly dissimilar. The pilot seemed to believe there were more than three seekers (Thundercracker, Skywarp and Starscream), but in fact potentially dozens, many of whom shared the same scheme as the three offered as toys.

yeah ive been watching g1 and i dont like how almost all the deceptacons look almost exacly the same except for there color

Hmmm Starscream, Thundercracker and Skywarp are kind of like "brothers" basically just re-colors but they each have very unique and distinctive PERSONALITIES which is what makes them great characters. Starscream is of course the conniving backstabber, Thundercracker is the reluctant warrior and Skywarp is the joker of the group. Shockwave, Soundwave, Megatron, and well most of the other Decepticons all had unique designs to themselves although Galvatron is similiar to Megatron but hey they are basically the same guy so it doesn't count

Yeah but in the first season to bolster the Decepticon ranks Marvel-Sundow added in a bunch of extra jet colour schemes. In MTMTE you can see 4 other jet colour schemes. Mauve/purple, green, "Sunstorm" (orange), grey. Plus others looke like the original trio just really muted colours.

I believe that thrid flying tent is the genesis of Sunstorm.
