I'm sure Gal has begun training for WW. I think this should be the thread to post current pics that surface in order to see her transformation. I'm excited to see how far she will go.

This is also a good place to post Wonder Gal Manips.

Awesome pic. Really good with the battle skirt there

But have all metal parts be of silver. Try to re-do the design that way, please :)

That's an impressive photo manip of GG as WW.

IF she remained the same weight, then I'd add some upper arm bands to help give the appearance of bicep size/bulk. And possibly some shoulder armour/guards to give the impression of a stronger/broader back and shoulders.

The manip is masterful to be sure, but this type of costume isn't the way to go. She looks tiny and frail. I hope that changes, but I'm doubtful that there is enough time.

yikes.

I've been a proponent for Gal from jump, and I KNOW she can bulk up, but geez...she's a waif in THAT costume.

I wonder if there are any images of Waifs that transformed into more muscular builds... like before and after shots.. it might be a good visual aid.

Women don't add muscle the same way, and unlike men, getting into body builder shape for Wonder Woman will preclude Gadot from taking any other roles in her career, which are pretty much all looking for waifs. That's not something that's going to happen for a supporting role. They cast Gadot because they like her the way she is. She'll tone up, but she's not going to put on weight, nor should she.

Well no, she should, but only in the same sense that you would expect a man to do the same. What should be different is her putting on some weight precluding her from other roles until she lost the weight.

Depending upon when GG films her scenes as WW for MOS2, it's probably unrealistic to expect a major transformation in her body shape within two to three months.

Of course, it's possible that GG was cast and began her training well before the official announcement of her casting.

And I agree that it's ridiculous that GG being well-toned and physically impressive would prevent her from being cast in any other roles. But, it's more than likely sadly true. Unless she ends up playing multiple variations of "strong warrior woman".

Possibly, depending upon her costume. Perhaps if they went with a mix of these two costumes:

But, a full body-suit costume for Wonder Woman might be too far removed from the "classic" costumes for DC and for the general audience. Instead, I'd expect the movie to simply state that Wonder Woman is superhumanly strong despite her apparent size/strength (similar to how Buffy had super strength even though she didn't have bulging biceps).

Beautiful girl, and great manipulation and costume.
But yikes I've never seen Wonder Woman look so frail.

Hopefully it's just the picture, and there's some bulking up and muscle by the time of filming, and the action, stunts and some plot devices emphasizing speed, agility and maybe magic over physical power/strength:(? sadly help with the suspension of disbelief and detract from it.

I don't think the pose in the photo manipulation is helping to convey "Wonder Woman" either.

I personally imagine Wonder Woman always looking confident and regal, with her shoulders back, straight back, head/chin up and straight. The original photo of GG obviously was trying to convery something other than a strong, confident and powerful woman.

The pre new 52 costume (the one with the pants and jacket) would seriously help to obscure Gal's lack of mass and avoid precluding her from other roles. I also like that costume.

I'm not a huge fan of the Odyssey costume for Wonder Woman. But, there were elements I liked, such as the bodice with the Greek-like shoulder straps/arm-wraps and the belt.

If the spurs were replaced with boots and if the jacket was simplified or was meant to be a "modern" jacket which Wonder Woman simply wears when incognito, then it's not a terrible costume.

The mass gain would be relative. I don't expect Gadot to get as big as Bale did in Batman Begins. That would be hilarious.

I hope they dont make her walk around in the american flag-looking costume

Apparently she will be wearing armour so her build is pretty much irrelevant.

Here is a quick sketch of what I think WW should look like in the film:

If that were true, it would be pointless for her to even be working out & doing as much training as she is.

Build is always important in superhero films. Having an average or unimpressive look negates the whole "super" part. :o

Great idea for a thread!

Also that picture isn't a bad costume. I think the tiara needs to be more traditional but that could totally work.
