    Disney and Bruckheimer Draft Game Boys

    Walt Disney Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer Films have acquired Game Boys, an action spec by Tom Ropelewski and Evan Katz. The Hollywood Reporter says Jerry Bruckheimer is producing.

    The story revolves around two thirtysomething video game junkies recruited by the Department of Homeland Security to lead a geeky army of gamers in a battle against creatures that have come to life from a video game they have mastered.

    Bruckheimer Films' Mike Stenson and Chad Oman will executive produce. Leslie Dixon (Freaky Friday) will serve as a producer in some capacity.

    It may actually work to be honest, so long as they get input from actual game studios about it, or even better have them create characters for the movie.
