I saw the trailer when I watched Mission Impossible and sigh. The film looks quite glossy and clean, visually, which is my cup of tea. A movie about sports/racing though? Unless there's some Fast/Furious twist here, this is just not for me.

And I'm not surprised this is coming for Apple. Their Apple Tv+ library is just so bland and uninteresting to me.

Did you enjoy Top Gun Maverick? Just asking as that one was kinda niche with plane flying as this one is to car racing. Maybe it transcends to others outside of its viewership metric?

I liked Top Gun Maverick and I have seen most of the movies from the director. Maverick wasn't a sports movie.

The last movie I watched that can be comparable to this is Gran Turismo and I found it basic, not bad and not great either.

I love F1 and my favorite team is Mercedes-AMG so this movie is calling to me. I think it looks pretty good and I'm sure the racing scenes will be intense and immersive.

Racing isn’t really my thing either but I do find it interesting in movies if they’re done well. If this is as good as Ford v. Ferrari or Gran Turismo, it could really be something special. Pitt, Idris, Condon and Braden all look to be in top form.

Also, I’m starting to think Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise really are vampires given how well they’ve both aged lol.
