People working in stores with no holiday spirit

I work in retail. You try staying cheery and upbeat with hundreds of people yelling at you every day for being out of things (which you have no control over, they send them when they send them), and people like some of those above who automatically assume things like "why arent there more people running registers? you have plenty of people working here!" no, no we dont. People get hired for seasonal, then never even show up, leaving us to run the store on the buisiest time of the year with a skeleton crew.

Why isnt "the stupid f'ing a-hole customers who deserved to have there eyes stabbed out" an option up there???

Everybody should have to work in retail during the holiday season to see how it is on the other end of things. Joker's right...it isn't fun. It's so unfortunate that people go to these stores and think everything should be PERFECT for them.

Guess what? It's Christmas and everybody is shopping AT THE SAME TIME! Do your shopping early or don't shop at all if you can't handle it. Poo faces!

Preach it brutha! Do either of you guys find yourselves being much nicer to waiters and clerks because of your retail experience? I know I have.
