The girl in that Gif is Danika Yarosh who will play the character of Malina & possibly the sister of the bearded guy who is trying to find her. I think he said her power was to manipulate the darkness.

That's not his Sister his Sister is named Phoebe not Malina.

Yeah, those are separate characters. Emily isn't an evo. Malina is. She's an elemental. A little ambiguous of an elemental, but it's shown she has control over growth of plants, healing people, and controlling the weather. So it's hard to say what else she can tap into. She's literally "elemental" as an all encompassing term.
