George Takei Wants to Unite Star Wars Fans and Star Trek Fans in War Against Twilight

I graduated college and have a job, plus you're ancient :oldrazz:

The 'Hi dad' part sounded like a joke, but this sounds a bit cheeky, veering into the disrespectful. But y'know, even though you are in your youth, mr.'ancient' will probably do more living in the next year than you might in the rest of yours, Mr.'I haven't been to the cinema since 2002 cause I don't like the fact other people are there too, and don't want to ever be in any kind of meaningful relationship.'

2004 actually, and it's gotta do with cold air conditioning and bright screen in a dark room, and loud noises. A few days back I remembered I saw X3 in theaters, and lesser days ago I saw Cat in Boots and was reminded why I like staying away from theaters

The out of marriage relationship thing is wrong in my religion, and I'm comfortable with that

Ok, whatever, my main point was that sometimes when making a joke, you can overpress it and it ends up coming across as a bit mean and disrespectful, without you realising it.

A good place to send those lame vampires would be Tatooine for double sun exposure!!!

Hey, don't point any fingers at me! I'm a Star Trek/Star Wars/Doctor Who/Tolkien/etc. etc. fan so that little image does not apply to me.

Better yet would be Neelix's kitchen. Sure, they'd be away from the sun, but given any extended visit with that guy they'd be running for the nearest airlock so they could do a Swan Dive into the closest sun from Voyager's orbit.

Twilight must be destroyed. All of us must unite to stop this common enemy or all will be lost.

Nah screw this revolution I'm going to play PS3.

The next thing that is going to happen is that PS3 owners will join XBox 360 owners against Twilight. Might as well pick up your complimentary nunchakus right now and join the battle.

But did you learn anything?

Ya know I can safely say that I have. I think when you enter college later in life you leave the "I already know everything" ego at the door. Once you accept you know nothing are you free to learn everything.

I'm free to learn some stuff
Got over the "I know everything" ego before graduating, thankfully

Good point. I'm mean the destruction of Twilight is for the betterment of the entire world. We shall be remembered as the brave souls who took the vampire lore back from the clutches of wussitude.

You know, unless something comes up, but otherwise I'm totally in.

To be honest, I am surprised that so many straight men are anti-Twilight. The general ethos of the franchise basically sets the empowerment of women and girls back 10-20 years, it gives you guys back the advantage.

Saw this image and had to think of your post. :funny:

Ha, that's a good one.

We should have a cool women of nerdom thread really. People like Buffy, Donna Noble, Xena, She-Hulk, Batwoman, Sookie Stackhouse etc. There's many bad ones but quite a few good ones too.
