It's an outdated symbol from a long dead era. Let it stay dead, even if your granny happens to like it. She'll be dead soon, and hopefully so will the stupid ******* rednecks I see every day who paste it to the back window of their stupid ******* truck as they drive around my stupid ******* town.

Let it live on in history books and the top of the General Lee, but for Christ sakes stop talking about flying it because it makes you look like a prick and rightfully so.

I mention the General Lee 'cuz she's somewhat of a pop-culture icon and IMO immune, though I'm sure someone will have issues, but they can deal with that themselves if they are uncool enough to hate on rad cars.

Why are you specifically asking Georgians? South Carolina started it!

cause it was our flag for a while and alot of people are still bitter about it being taken away and replaced with that lame ass flag with golden paper weight thing on it.

we got a pretty good one now though.it was a confederate flag too so the pro flag folks were happy.but obscure enough that the anti flag folks were none the wiser.pretty crafty of mister perdue i say

Again - there is nothing about the Confederate Battle Flag that should inspire feelings of pride.

There is many a black person that is a fan of the Dukes of Hazzard pop culture frenzy, and they would be one of the few exceptions in the media that don't garner any type of reaction like that, as they were always portrayed as the good guys in that sense.
