Comics Gerry Conway writing new Mini Series For Spider-Man

Recently it came out that Legend Gerry Conway is scripting and writing a new Spider-Man Mini Series. that's due out next year. It's not thought to be connected to Spider-Verse although he is writing a story in Spider-Verse Team Up #2

Gerry's stories were awesome as a kid in the 70's... but I find they have a hard time holding up 40 years later... and his Web of work in the late 80's was not very good... though I believe he did create Tombstone...

Just my opinion...

A lot of Gerry's creations could be construed at hit or miss, to be honest for every Punisher tomby or Ms Marvel is a "Gibbon" although he did create some iconic Villains. such as The Jackal IIRC

Agreed though that Web of run was a bit dodgy. Mind you he was following PAD.

I enjoyed his Web run. It was a totally different book from ASM as it should be.

Conway Writing an Alternate Ben Reilly would be quite interesting. to be honest.
