They heard noises and investigated. Nothing was caught on camera.

No, they've had a few things caught on camera. The lighthouse in St Augustine had some creepy footage. I know in 08 Grant had his collar tugged during the live episdoe. They also had some voices caught while the cameras were rolling in the Staley Hotel.

While I admit a lot of the stuff they get could be plausibly explained, I still enjoy watching the show. Just wondered if I missed out on some truly creepy moments.

Ghost Hunters is a very easy way to waste an hour in front of the tv. If you take it as a real scientific study into the spirit realm, then maybe you need to relax a bit...but if you are bitter because parts are dramatized to make a better show, then you also need to relax and realize that almost every bit of entertainment you watch is scripted.

This show and Josh Gate's monster hunters or whatever are a complete waste of time. They never find anything. I always feel like an idiot for watching either...but Josh is at least funny

The vast majority of shows in television history pretend that they arent scripted. CSI, Law And Order, Archie Bunker, MASH, Young & The Restless, Seinfeld...you name it...none of these shows admitted that they were scripted in the reality on screen.

If a viewer is stupid enough to believe that reality tv is unscripted then that is their issue. Reality shows are descendants of pro wrestling in that way...in that the scripted nature of it is presented as being real, even in press releases and interviews. However, you can't blame the shows themselves for being faithful to their concepts. You blame the morons who can't tell fiction from nonfiction. Just as a wrestling viewer could watch the shows for the athleticism and drama, a reality tv viewer can watch for the drama and character interaction. The idiots are the ones who believe the events are actually unfolding in a real time, unscripted manner.
