I’m done buying games at 70 anyways so wasn’t getting it, but have no interest in a female samurai. It would be like playing a WW2 game as a female soldier. I do like female characters like aloy and Lara Croft not this just doesn’t do it for me

Umm, you do know that women served in combat roles in the Soviet Army in WW2 right? Just like how female samurai and onna-mushi did exist and used swords:

I apologize if I offended anyone. Sometimes things just seem a little forced. I know a 120 lb woman isn’t beating an army of 250 lb men with a sword. 120 lb man either

I don’t think to just not be into this for my reasons make me prejudice. I gave my female characters i liked. Including the cop on Alan wake 2 who sidelined the title character.

if you put on boxing gloves to help your hands not get harmed and told a 250 lb man to fight a 125 lb man in an activity where strength plays a big part, who would win most likely? And I haven’t played that game in over a year and yes a game called Alan Wake where you spend more time playing as another character is an issue and I can still like her character

I get the impression from someone I know who has very strong opinions on Japanese history and how it is acknowledged in Japan, that it is very much not historical.

How was it an issue?

A gun is one thing or a bow, but a spear or sword takes plenty of force. If a 6 year old attacked me with a sword i could prob sway away with bare hands, but if they have a gun not so much

I was going to mention that onna-musha preferred the naginata since its extended reach actually DID level the playing field against taller men.
