Ok, the Egon figure is excellent, looks like Harold Ramis. The Winston figure is the best in likeness, you can clearly see it's Ernie Hudson. The Ray figure on the other hand, is very poor in likeness. It seems they based it on a cartoon version of Dan Akroyd, or his stunt double. It's pretty obvious it's the worst of the bunch, but, if you're a diehard fan like me, you'd buy it anyway. Unfortunately, he's unavailable on MattyCollector.com. I wanted it, so I chose to pay $20 for him. Since he is no longer that price, for those who didn't buy him on the site may have to pay more in order to get him. I personally don't think he was worth a $20 price tag, but it's up to you if you want to pay more than that for a mediocre figure at best.
I'm worried about the Venkman figure. I saw a prototype of him at Toyfair and again at ComicCon, and it looked silly. I'm hoping changes have been made before his release in May. If not, I'm sure I'll buy it anyway, just for the sake of having them all.
My suggestion to Mattel is, lower the prices on the Ghostbusters line, given the fact you're really only paying for new head sculpt, and in Ray's case, a very poor head sculpt. Same body. Same hands.
