You’ve got to feel for the likes of Thomas Jane and Russell Mulcahy. They’re both going through what might be described as… quieter periods in their careers.

And now they’re teaming up for what they hope will be a big joint career boost, Jane will star in Mulcahy’s Give ‘Em Hell, Malone!, the tale of a tough private eye who goes up against gangsters and thugs to protect a secret.

They’re getting ready to shoot right now, according to Moviehole, with Ving Rhames locked in and Michelle Rodriguez in talks to join the fun.
