It honestly looks like what the Netflix Godzilla animated series should have been. Now, that's what I'm talking about and the designs of the monsters already look really unique and interesting.
Up to episode 4 and this is playing a lot differently than I thought it would be. I’m continuing to watch because I want to see all the monsters but the pacing has definitely thrown me for a loop.
Update: Yeesh, the technobabble in this is insane. Every other scene is characters monotonously explaining some dumb pseudoscience.
I finished watching the subbed version of this not too long ago and while I did enjoy it overall, especially the Kaiju action the human plot in this and the science that is used to explain everything was convoluted as hell and way too complex to follow IMO to the point that I had just stopped thinking about the plot entirely.
Yeah I stopped paying attention to the explanations after a while. Every time they explained something, it felt like they would say the same thing in 3 separate ways. The kaiju were the best part and I really liked the art design. The human plot and characters sadly brought my enjoyment down quite a bit.
