He-man Sequel Series (Netflix)

I was hoping when Skeletor got assimilated at the end that he might look like the 87 movie Skeletor. He was dressed all in black and could potentially have had more cybernetic parts under that outfit.

Also when Teela became the Sorceress, I wish she could've had that brown snake armour like the original toy had which doubled as the Sorceress.

I think Skeletor being assimilated is more of a nod to the New Adventures of He-Man Skeletor. While on the topic of the tech cult Tri-Klops reminds me of Rexor from Conan the Barbarian (1982) and the cult reminds me of the cult of Set.

I think these days the Eternian Goddess and the Sorceress are considered two different characters so I doubt you'll see them as the same character if for no other reason than trademark issues.

Which honestly just made Teela even more attractive to me. Plus Teela getting bigger arms and the new look was a result of her leaving the Eternian Royal Guard and becoming a mercenary. And Eternia was becoming a dismal place. It was her post-apocalyptic timeskip look. It's for the sake of a story. Rejecting a show over that is so dumb and superficial.

While I have no issue with Teela and Evil Lyn getting redesigns for the show I think one succeeded and one failed. I think if you were to see Evil Lyn even without her helmet in a picture with no markings other than a MOTU logo and no knowledge of the show you would go check out this EL design, I wonder what its from. And if Teela was in the same position people would ask who the character was or just express dislike for the design. By the way when I say design I just mean hair cut, clothing and armor. I have zero issue with her being muscular. And I'll be completely honest the ideas I would suggest for a Teela redesign might me as generic looking as I feel the redesign is so I've never thought I could do better than that. As far as online complaints go about Teela being muscular I disagree and think it makes complete sense that the Captain of the Guard would be muscular.

I hope Lena Headey gets the chance to play Evil Lyn in live action as she would be perfect. She already looks like her even without a costume:

Most of the haters out there disliked the show based soley on Teela's haircut and muscular arms! That's it! They pretty much gave up on the show after that. You can tell that most of the people who post the critical youtube videos haven't even watched the show in its entirety. Its just sad.

As TheVileOne mentioned, the show wasn't perfect, (one thing I found annoying, for example, was the constant "sentimental moments" between Man-at-Arms and Teela, Teela and the Sorceress, Adam and King Randor and so on -- there's no crying in Master of the Universe!) but from an entertainment standpoint I thought it was a undeniable success.

(and "Ms Shoulders" Evil-Lynn was a definite bonus!).

Based on my experience, on this board, no, it doesn't surprised me that muscular women piss off a certain segment of the fan base.

I will say, that for me, I am probably one of the few that Act 2 was worse than Act 1 for me.

Fair enough, but I think all the redesigns served a decent story purpose. Most of the major cast members were redesigned to fit the setting of an Eternia where He-Man and Skeletor are gone, and Eternia is losing its magic and basically dying.

To me, it's akin to Darkwing Duck becoming Dark Warrior Duck. It's a bleaker setting and characters change up their looks.

Even if I don't like the design I'm not going to fault anyone from liking it because I think people should like what they Like rather myself or anyone else doesn't like it. My dad even likes the Teela redesign. And to be completely honest I bought the toy when I had the first chance. To me The design has a pirate feel to it and if she was a pirate I would probably have little to no issue with the design. By the way Mattel still hasn't announced my Sorceress Teela yet lol.

I hope Mattel gives us a Muscle Lyn figure.

That will always be the dream, but probably wishful thinking.

I think female bodybuilding fans are still a tiny niche market (although much bigger than when I was growing up in the 1980s, thanks to the internet).

Better content ourselves with the flood of Evil-Lyn pictures on deviantart.

Please, they will use every design used from Revelations for their Masterverse line. Hell, probably release her as a deluxe figure.

I figure the powered up Evil Lyn will be a Skelegod like release rather than a standard figure. I do wonder how the shows performance will impact what figures are released. I don't know if anybody else has paid attention to Netflix's Top 10 site but Revelation has not been on there either of the two weeks the show has been out. I think Mattel has said they're doing a classic redesign/updated Teela and Mer Man but I'm not sure about anything else. I almost forgot the King Grayskull figure.

I mean, the next years worth of releases are set in stone. So yeah more Revelations figures. But they also seemed to hint that the Masterverse may be getting some of the CGI stuff, which I am curious to see how that works out.

Maybe as a Hot Toys figure? If they only do real people's likenesses, use Lena Headey's for her face.

Master-verse is making multiple versions of all the characters, so I don't think it will be an issue.I'm sure we will get a God-Lyn figure at some point.

I have two thoughts about future Revelation figures being made.

1. If any figure isn't announced by SDCC and the show isn't picked up for a second season I don't think anymore Revelation figures will be made.

2. If the show is cancelled I don't think we'll get anymore Revelation figures tout side of what is currently scheduled.

I could see God- Lyn, Sorceress Evil Lyn or Sorceress Teela being some sort of exclusive if either of my opinions are true. I hope I'm wrong because I want those three more than any other character from the show in figure form.

Toy Fair will probably be a big source of news.

I'd like to see those 3 figures as well, but also Lyn at the end when she was more peaceful and retreated to the forest and was wearing that off-the-shoulder outfit.

Can someone make some gifs of Sorceress Lyn's transformation into Muscle Lyn?

After being infected by motherboard, I would like Skeletor to have a design that resembles his New Adventures/Laser Skeletor figure.

I'd also like a more overt romance between Teela and Adam. Now that they know each other's secrets, I'd like that we could move out of the dumb hand-holding phase.

With Skeletor still around, I will be curious how Hordak and the Horde come into play.

I do think they need to stick with the idea that Hordak was the one who granted Skeletor his powers and now he's coming back to collect on his debts.

Agreed. Teela and Adam kind of had a "best friends" vibe. So because of that, it kind of felt out of place when the show was suddenly hinting at a romance at the end of the season.

The way it was written, Teela had more chemistry with Andra. I was expecting something to happen there. (And yes, certain people would be outraged) It's almost as if they changed that relationship really late, maybe because they were affraid of what some of the fans might think.

That I would not be OK with just because He-Man and Teela is the canonical pairing, and that's the relationship I finally want to see depicted onscreen.

The idea of Teela and Andra being a lesbian couple was a false rumor spread by alt-right websites and YouTube channels like Clownfish TV.

I am more than willing to bet shippers were involved as well. Coming off of She-ra and with those designs, yeah, there was some fan wishes in those initial rumors.

I know, I'm just talking about what I was seeing on screen. It's more a comment on the writing. They should've done more with that He-Man/Teela relationship.
