Yesterday, I turned on my computer after I got in from work, tried going on here with Google Chrome, but it didn't even make it to the main page before completely freezing both Chrome and my computer. As far as I know, I didn't do any updates, download anything, or change any settings. Is there any way i get chrome working again?

I'm using Chrome right now and don't have any problems. Does Chrome access other sites fine, or is it only having problems with the Hype? You might want to try updating Adobe Flash as well. I know there was recently an update and I believe this site is pretty flash heavy.

No, it was every site I tried using. It couldn't access anything, and just completely froze my computer. I know that's not much to go on, but that's as specific as I can get about the problem. :csad:

I had the same problem. It was caused by a Norton encryption plug in. When I turned that off, it worked fine. Check your plug ins.

Ok, I'll try to do that. What's the specific name of the one I need to turn off, because there's one called Norton Confidental, and I don't want to turn off the wrong one.

If that suggestion doesn't work, simply uninstall Chrome and re-install it.

All I know that Chrome has a big user circle. And I can imagine why chrome is having problems now. Firefox is the best.

I had "the light blue screen" all of a sudden. I couldn't get rid of it, so I uninstalled Chrome.

I use Safari now to great satisfaction. :yay:

Try unistall chrome from your laptop and remove all traces of the programe. Then download it again. If that doesn't work make sure your computer isn't running program you don't know about in the background.
