Actually facism isn't involved, it's a fear of being sued.

We need tort reform.

I didn't even see her post cause i didn' read the whole thing and two shes on ignore.
 
Christ. This was one of the great escapes from the everyday monotony of school life, and now they are taking it away? I can maybe see if this is a small school and have a very small and limited space for your students' recess (such as the school I worked at last Spring had no more than 500 square feet for the students to play in, and it was more like a park than a yard. Students were taken out 3 classes at a time max). Hell, dodgeball was a mandatory activity during some periods. And from 5th grade on touch football, basketball or handball was the only activity during lunch periods.
 
they took it out of school where I come from, saying it is too religous, but yet they still use under one god when they pledge to the flag.

You know I never actually said the pledge I used to always protest why god was in the pledge. I never got an answer, lol.

But seriously why get rid of games, it just makes the kids do them anyways or get into more trouble with other stuff like sniffing paint off the newly painted walls. Some day they just band everyone touching each other and have a 3 feet away from each other rule.
 
my primary school had nice fields of grass with banks and trees. plenty of places to go kick the crap out of each other. things had to be agreed but not agreeing ment you were a coward. i remember them banned playing on the grass in winter. everyone got scraped up pretty bad. and then we weren't allowed to play football or cricket because they thought windows would get smashed by stray balls. never banned tag tho. we developed our own rules as people tried new things. but then we'd grown out of tag and just stood around taking or went walking around and talking.

Good riddance to it! Who needs fun at recess when you can have utter boredom? Imagine it!

Kids are supposed to scrape their knees and get hurt. Damn. If the kid never falls down and busts his knee cap, how will he ever handle pain?
 
Next thing you know they'll be telling us how our kids should wipe their arses after going to the toilet.
