This looks utterly incredible to me.

And yeah, I'm sure there will be reports of people getting sick when watching this, but these days, that happens all the time.

Am I the only one who thought that clip was not very good. Besides the bad cg which obviously will be better when it comes out. The voices didn't sound like they were coming from anywhere. Just sounded like they were recorded in a studio and placed on top of the scene. Scary idea sure but I wasn't too thrilled with that clip

Quite disagree on the bad CG part. The voices do have an ADR quality but that's because of the echo from inside the helmets.

i think the cgi is 100% realistic.

those clips are finished cgi shots. they have been rendering from 2012.

Haha no its not 100% realistic. They're not bad by any means but they don't look finished to me. Just didn't like the whole scene, nothing about it felt real or terrifyng Bullock certainly didn't help, I laughed in that 2 minutes a lot more than I should have. The idea is very terrifying that scene as is definitely was not

This looks beyond awesome.

This is one of those movies that the clips/tv spots/trailers are really going to hurt people's perceptions. You simply can't sell the suspense and terror of this situation in a few seconds. That new clip they released about the shuttle destruction was the second two minutes of the footage shown at comic con. the first two minutes or normalcy were what made the second two so impactful.

****s too real.

So, is this movie set in the past? I mean, there's a space shuttle in there... ;)

CG looks great to me. I think its just a matter of the camera movements, the fact that we know its CG, and just the fact that the image is just so much cleaner than most of what we see from the ISS and shuttle missions that throws us off.

This looks amazing....i mean damn...in space.

Does this movie have a screenplay? It looks like it just go to situations.

Past from that, the directing and cinematography are truly amazing.

This was the dumbest teaser I have ever seen. It is literally only Sandra Bullock grunting and screaming while there are 50 shots of her trying to grab parts of the ship as she twirls around.

How the film will turn out...idk. But, that was an awful teaser.

disagree...that made it great...

Shes like scared to death,of course you're gonna be grunting and screaming
Its sheer terror

Saw the trailer. Is this seriously the whole movie?

Am I the only one tired of these gimmicky "trapped survival movies" (See: Buried, Open Water, etc... lol). The whole thing is just them struggling and then they either somehow survive or die...the end(?)

And we, the audience are meant to constantly think to ourselves, "That's my worst nightmare!", "Imagine how scary that would be.", etc... so what?

i read that if the trailer or teasers dont show the basic story or at least the whole story than this means that the movie doesnt have a story.

peoples reaction to the Gravity clips are proof why hollywood is showing the whole story in trailers.

just asking if the whole movie is Bullock screaming and grabbing things means that its over.

It looks absolutely amazing. But I still don't know how this is a movie...and how they will keep it interesting enough to make me want to spend money on it....

Man I wish this technical ingenuity had been applied toward a more imaginative purpose. Is somebody panicking in space the most interesting scenario/story Cuaron could come up with? An unbroken tracking shot trumps character development and narrative dynamics?

Can I co-sign this?

this is what WB and Cuaron decided to show to the public. this is what they decided to show you to get you in the theater. if you dont find this interesting in 2013 than this movie is not for you.
