Let’s think of some great villains we haven’t seen yet in the mcu and maybe get some ideas for how to make them work

Morgana Le fey

And of course MODOK

Not counting the ones that are currently owned by Fox (Doom, Kang, Galactus) or the Spider-Man villains we haven't seen in the MCU yet, the two biggest ones that come to mind that we haven't seen yet are probably MODOK and Taskmaster.

Amora the Enchantress as an Asgardian refugee manipulating Earth men in large numbers in Thor 4:

Taskmaster seems like the sort of villain they'd turn completely mundane, like Zemo or this guy:

Zemo was underused but effective, and they did leave the door open for him to come back. Batroc has always been ridiculous, though. His portrayal in TWS, though brief, did a lot of favors for the character. There's potential for Taskmaster, probably not as a villain in an Avengers movie (at least not a primary one) but in a solo movie somewhere down the line.

Batroc has always been ridiculous, though.

So is Taskmaster. He wears underpants on the outside, buccaneer boots, a cape and has Skeletor's head. It's ridiculous, flashy and pretty iconic for a D-lister. I'm not interested in seeing a dull-looking version of him.

And what makes you think he would be like that? I'm sure they'd adapt the design to make it more grounded. Maybe you forgot how ridiculous The Vulture looked in the comics but in the movie he looks menacing and badass.

Magneto and Titanium Man, with music by Paul McCartney.

(The Crimson Dynamo can come along for the ride)

Batroc and Zemo are good villains, though.

What I'm trying to get across is that Taskmaster's ridiculous costume is what makes him fun to watch. No mask, no cape, no buccaneer boots? No fun.

After Hela, what’s the point of Enchantress?

Enchantress operates on Midgard a lot. If Thor is king of Asgard and there's no Asgard to send her back to for using her powers in attempts to take over countries, what's he to do? Execute her? It's a very different inner conflict for Thor from
"I'm the legitimate ruler of Asgard." "Fine, then I'll blow up Asgard! And my rock friend will quip about destroying planets."

So mind control run amok? That’s still pretty derivative.

This would be a good design in my opinion.

The complete list of all appearances in Marvel Comics can be viewed here: https://comicvine.gamespot.com/set/4005-29092/issues-cover/. As a lot to sift through at comicvine link (I think it's most telling to see publishing order to know what added in later or retconned but way too much here to re-order by publishing date), I will just remark on few interesting details pertaining to parts of Atlantis Attacks Crossover mentioned above:

Uncanny X-men 13(1989 published as part of Atlantis Attacks crossover): Uatu the watcher recounts different tribes on earth when elder god influence (Marvel borrowing from Lovecraft) still felt. One tribe being the "Serpent men" that worship elder god Set whom are rejected by the celestials on 1st visit as being worthy to experiment on instead selecting another tribe of ancient man to create the eternals, deviants, and humans with latent gene (mutants) from.

Other Issues of Crossover Seem Add Further Detail: Retcon of this "serpent tribe" as the same ones that appear in the Kull the Conquerer and Conan comics published by Marvel now being given a timeline of being between 1st and 2nd celestial visits (this 2nd celestial visit pertaining to Lemuria and Atlantis's destruction by the celestials is another retconned in detail as well since their apparent destruction was in comics way before Celestials introduced).

*As a sidenote, the lizardmen from Subterannea (seems many races deviants come from here) discussed here http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Lizard_Men_(Deviants) seem to not be the same as the serpent people. Go figure.

3) Dragon of the Moon

General Info. I posted about here: http://forums.superherohype.com/showthread.php?t=540589&highlight=dragon+the+moon&page=3

More Specific Info.: I recommend this link for finding character's complete comic's history meshed together irregardless of publishing date (wish it was in order as can see what retconned or added in later by different writer but oh well) http://www.marvunapp.com/Appendix3/dragonofmoondef.htm To attempt to crossreference by publishing date, the comicvine link here lists all the character's appearances in comics as well (unfortunately out of order by publishing date but if click on an issue can get details see where fits if wish) https://comicvine.gamespot.com/dragon-of-the-moon/4005-56928/issues-cover/

I was just reading the Kitty Pryde and Wolverine mini-series, and it occurred to me that Ogun even in the comic is already an incredibly scary and cinematic villain. In fact the more I think about it, the more I think he should've been used in The Wolverine instead of the quirky odd couple of Viper and Silver Samurai.

Moving forward, he'd still make a great choice if MS wanted to reintroduce Wolverine through a solo movie (or do an actual Wolverine/Kitty Pryde movie).

If we get an Ant Man 3, I could see MODOK as the villain.

I just feel that he fits the vibe of those movies.

Crimson dynamo would be so much fun to see

I thought we’d all agreed on no more armored villains after Iron Man 2.

Oh, wait, I forgot about the first Ant-Man guy. Ew. No more armored villains.
