I was unable to attend last years festival (first one in 10 years I missed:csad:)....I hope to be able to make it to this one.

How is it to meet the celebs? Is it ridiculously long lines? My friend is going and is going to try to get me an autograph. He thinks he heard the autographs are free and you are limited to 1 or 2. And their is no pictures (w/the celeb). Can you tell me if this is accurate?

Here is how it usually goes....

Saturday is the day for meeting celebs and getting autographs.

In the morning, they split up celebs and send to different locations for a couple hours for autographs. Line length depends on how many people want that particular person's autograph.

Around noon all celebs gathered in town square for a question and answer period.

Couple of hours later, all celebs are seated at the Chamber of Commerce for autographs again. This line becomes extremely long. I have found that it is best to skip the Q&A and go directly to line and start waiting early for these autographs. The town prints up and hands out for FREE, a newspaper (The Daily Planet) with pics of the main guests on front page. This is great to get autographed....because it looks cool AND the autographs you get on it are for free. Most celebs also bring pics that can be purchased from them. Most celebs are pretty good about taking pics with the fans....but the city reps in charge tend to try and keep this to a minimum (especially as time passes....another reason to get in line early).

I have good memories from my visits....from taking Marc McLure's pic of him in front of the Giant Superman statue for him with his camera, to sitting on a bench with Sara Douglas eating ice cream and talking about movies.

Read about that earlier would love to go to it but i dont have the time or money to get out there.
