Green Lantern and Superman/Batman: Public Enemies

According to this article....... the next two DC Universe Original Animated Movies projects are Green Lantern, and Superman/Batman: Public Enemies.

if thats true, i'd be really lookin' forward to those specially the Superman/ Batman crossover. wasnt there an actual Superman-Batman story called Public Enemies?

Yes. If I recall, I think that's the one where Bats and Supes are sort of evil-ish fascist superhero types and Wonder Woman fights against them with Uncle Sam. Though I could be mixing it up with another story.

I think main draw of that story is going to be portraying Bats and Supes as utter jerks.

Public Enemies is the name of the arc that began the current Superman/Batman comic where they brought down President Luthor.

Yeah, it's the one where they're literally made public enemies. Kryptonite asteroid threatening earth and all. I'd love to see that. Lot's of heroes and villains involved in that one and you get a Batman/Superman vs Hawkman/Captain Marvel fight.

MUCH more excited about Green Lantern though. Can't wait for that, Aquaman, and Wonder Woman.

I wouldn't be overly surprised if, by the time the "Green Lantern" animated movie rolls out, sometime in 2010, it is marketed as a tie-in to the live action film.

I wouldn't be overly surprised if, by the time the "Green Lantern" animated movie rolls out, sometime in 2010, it is marketed as a tie-in to the live action film.

I'm guessing it'll be the same capactiy as the animated Invincible Iron Man was to the live-action movie.

I've never read the Batman/Supes one how does Batman fend off the other heroes? He's smart and does know their weakness hmm. This should be intresting, just wish they'd make a Flash animated film *Sigh*

Well in animated stuff the spectacular spider-man is a great marvel product but yea with there animated film slates havent been that great but i havent seen many of them only the two ulitmate avengers films.

I have to agree on Spectacular Spider-Man and also Wolverine and the X-Men. I was mostly just referring to Marvels DTVs. They all just seem very poorly done (mostly in terms of writing).

1. IMO, Superman/Batman works better in animation than it would in live action. At least, I think it would.

2. I would love a sequel with Supergirl.
