yeah, i dont know if Flash's condition is temporary or what but i sure dont like it

The very interesting thing is that Marvel in its solicitation for AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #622 refers to Greg as "the brains behind the smash TV hit Spectacular Spider-Man" which shows Marvel's appreciation of a TV series for which they have not even lifted half a finger to promote!​

yea thats nice, i agree i dont like that they made flash legless. It would have been nicer to just be normal but hey its comic world he could get robotic legs or something.

Greg Weisman's Flash story in this issue has been very well received on all of the other boards I've seen. The story was fantastic, I thought as well. Hope they can get him some more Spidey stories in this book. Or even better yet, this show gets renewed for a third season!

I just read this issue. the first part by Fred Van Lente was utter crap just like most of the Brand New Day comics. But Greg's Flash story was spectacular (no pun intended). it was by far the best spider-man comic i have read in the last couple of years. i was surprised just how immersed-in-continuity this brilliant story was. he even used flash's father and Sha Shan. it was just great. the only non-Dan Slott spidey story i have read for more than once in quite long time

The Flash Thompson story was more interesting than anything "The Gauntlet" has yet to give us. I say that "The Gauntlet" is pointless.

^Well, the Electro, Sandman & Rhino stories were good - although I dont really see how are they connected. But yeah, you're probably right - I have a feeling the ending of this arc will screw continuity once again. I mean, Marvel is releasing one-shots about Kraven and his legacy, and we all know the masterminds behind Gauntlet are his family. I hope they dont do the thing I think they'll do.

Now that you mentioned it, I havent been keeping with Ultimate Spidey's new [Post-Ultimatum] continuity. Is JJJ still there? From I've heard the first arc is kinda Spider-Friends type story + Mysterio.
