Okay. I have your average young persons room. A DVD player, TV, XBOX 360, Wii, lap top,r and a clock. There's a surge protector in which the laptop, the 360, the clock and the cable modem are plugged in too. Then the Wii, DVD player and the TV in an extension plug.

Both the surge protector and extension cord are in the same damn outlet. It began last month when the room's power would flicker before I even bought the 360, now just a minute ago, Wham, off then on again. There was even one night where two of the rooms in this apartment were off.

WHY THE HELL IS THIS HAPPENING? DOES THE METAPHORICAL SKY BULLY HATE ME OR WHAT? :cmad::dry:

You might putting them in different outlets, JAB. Just a thought.

Satan is signaling you to begin your fulfill your role as the anti-christ and begin the horrid journey to the end of man and all that there is.

Or, I dunno, your wiring is ******ed.

Either/or. :)

You have too many devices that require too much power that all come from one single outlet.

I have a Monster Cable surge protector, and it works awesomely. It's got a power-balance in it, makes sure things are going good with my devices. And it's got a cable plug-in, so my cable never gets static-looking at all.

Hmm. Soo...I found a secret outlet behind the bed and plugged the Wii, TV, and DVD player into that. Maybe that should work.

And I've already begun my quest to end man kind it just kinda got subverted by the total awesomeness of procrastination. :o

>_<

After moving that it still did it! So now I have my Wii and 360 unplugged.

What the hell is with the wiring in this damn place?

That is so NOT average.

Okay. Not really average, but still..

FF, where'd you get that Monster Surge Protector?

That is so NOT average.

Beat me to it. Two next gen systems and a laptop? Next you're gonna tell me, "So, like everybody else in America, my personal maid comes twice a week and...."

Hey! What do you know, here comes Maria now! :D

Okay, maybe I was a little off on the term average. Anyone got clues as to how to remedy this situation permanently?

I'm going to need more info.
How old is the house? How many receptacles are on that one breaker.... is there a bedroom next to yours that could also be sharing the same circuit? You live in a house, apartment, dorm?

Don't have everything plugged in at the same time...How often do you play 360 and Wii, well watching a DVD? Wait...Doesn't 360 play DVD's? Why do you need the DVD player at all?

Apartment. One night my room and my friend's room both went off for a long period of time before coming back on. Receptacles?

I have an Xbox 360, PS3, and a laptop. I don't really see the problem with that

Oh, and I gave my maid the week off.
