Pretty simple, share with us what your favorite tech possessions are. Have it? Had it? Planning on it? Post it here!

What I own:
Speakers - Logitech X-540: These speakers are great! Affordable and incredible quality! Only buy this if you plan on using it for your computer or if your TV, Blu-Ray, Console, DVD Player is near your PC, this way you can use a component in jack for the PC and the 1/8" jacks for these. It'll also allow you to plug in two more stander PC speakers to get the full 7.1 feel.

Xbox 360: I've got the standard Xbox 360 (not the Arcade or the Elite). I've installed a gloss black faceplate onto it to make it look more up to date and I mixed and matched parts of an Elite controller and a Standard controller so now it's all black and white.

Blu-Ray Player - Samsung BD-P1500: This player is amazing and has BD-Live, and it has a USB port so you can put in a thumbdrive with firmware updates on it that you download VIA computer if you don't have a long enough ethernet cable. Supports every video output except cable, and all audio outputs except coaxial. Also includes 1080p up-converting for DVDs which looks superb!

What I will be buying:
Mp3 Player - Samsung P2:
This Mp3 player supports a wide range of filetypes, has a touch screen, supports loosseless drag-and-drop data transfer, has blue-tooth which supports two-headphones at once, and is bluetooth-calling enabled. It has costomizable themes, radio playback and recording aswell as voice recording and also has bluetooth file transfer. Also has a very wide selection of games (as it supports almost all .swf flash games) and apps. The audio/video quality is subpar and it's cheapper than the iPod touch. I prefer this over the iPod touch. I'll be buying this early next month.

TV - Samsung LN32A330: This is a 32" 720p HDTV. For this size, 720p and 1080p would look the same, so I'm going with the cheaper one. It has speakers on the sides and supports many inputs and outputs. Only $500. I'll be buying this by my birthday (March).

I got my iPod three years ago, it's an 8 gig black Nano. I need more space now but I'll never get rid of this one, it was with me during some of the less enjoyable moments of my life so it has a sentimental value. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, I threw it out of a car moving at 30 mph and it still works fine. Well, I didn't really throw it but it did fall out of a car moving at 30 mph, the screen didn't even go black once, you could see the backlight as it bounced into the air.

my mobile phone is rigged to open my front door, that's about as techy as i get.

My home theater setup:
Samsung HL-S5087W
Onkyo TX-SR805B
Infinity Beta 306 Center Channel
4X Infinity Beta 10 Surrounds
2X Infinity Beta 40 Fronts
PS3 and Xbox 360

Hope to get soon:
Elemental Designs A2 - 300 Subwoofer (To replace my old Sony SA-WM500)

Definitely my Sony Bravia 32 inch 720p. Like Roider said, there's no point going 1080 at that size.

My Xbox360 is also my *****. Though mine is an early model and doesn't have the HDMI input. Can someone help me with that?

Can't do jack squat, my friend. Your best bet is to find a dumb friend who doesn't have an HDTV and has a new Xbox and trade it with him along with $20.00. If he's still like "I dunno..." tell him it's in awesome condition and it's a rare model. Haha, this way you get HDMI and a newer Xbox which also means a longer warranty ;)

Have you had any problems with it? I heard Alienware's laptops are way over priced and glitch a lot but that their desktops are top notch. Care to comment?

I have:

Sony Bravia 32" 720p LCD, perfect for a bedroom set.

XBOX 360 Arcade with a 120 gig HD from an Elite, and the Elite's RCA/Optical dongle bought used at gamestop :hehe:.

Sony PSP 2000 model, 1st of the 'slim' PSP handhelds, but updated with the most resent firmware and have a 4 gig mem stick for it for my movies and shows to watch on break at work :woot:.

Pioneer VSX-D912 110watts x 7 (770 watts total) A/V amp. it is 3 years old but still sounds great when i play a DVD or a 360 game on it, cannot WAIT to get a PS3 hooked to it :woot:.

Great choice on the tv. I have almost the same one (the 2007 model) Its my favorite tech posession. What a difference it made foing from SDTV to this set.

1 more thing I'll add is my PS3. Absolutely love it as a multi-media device

You should get the Diamond Xtreme Sound 7.1/24 Bit Sound Card with Dolby Digital Live. It has optical input and output and 7.1 output at 1/8". So pretty much, plug in whatever (TV, DVD, Xbox etc) to the computer, than plug the 3 1/8" cables to the PC and if you ever wanna ad the extra 2 channels, you just plug in another standard 1/8" computer speaker couple. Seriously, it's WAY better than Matrix mode and the quality is flawless!

Yeah I know the desktops are amazing, I'm just curious about the laptops.

Not with the Nintendo Wii! :hehe:

Well my 360 was bought last jan and it was one of the Falcon motherboard equipped units. maybe they started including that RCA/Optical thing in the current Jasper equipped motherboards that started shipping out late fall of 08?

either way, with that dongle and my HDMI cable (got it for 7 bucks!) and a cheap optical cable (3 bucks!) i can play my DVDs and 360 games in 7.1 surround sound :hehe:.

I have the same Xbox and I'm getting the same TV for my bedroom as well. Nice taste.

Excalibur Electronics Soundmaster Soundbar W/ iPod Dock.
Couldnt ask for anything better to add superior clear sound for my tv and it is perfect for my room because i wanted a surround sound system but did want a ton of speakers everywhere.

32' LG 1080i HDTV
absolutely love my television couldn't ask for better quality... i love it

Xbox 360
just the plain 360 though im thinking about getting an elite so that I can have that hdmi port built in to up the picture quality on my tv

iPod Nano 2nd Gen
nothing special just an iPod...

Toshiba Satellite Notbook
yet nothing real special, gets done what I have to get done. I wish I'd bought another one though cause the quality of this one is kinda crappy and it randomly will shut down on me.

Yeah, It's a nice tv. I have my 360 hooked up to my 55" HDTV and the Onkyo. Call of Duty is insane through the sound system.
