''The film revolves around retired boxers Billy "The Kid" McGuigan and Henry "Razor" Sharp, lifelong bitter rivals who are coaxed out of retirement and into the ring for one final grudge match -- 50 years after their last title fight.''

:wow: I thought this movie was just a rumor. Now I am excited!

Alternate universe – Balboa vs LaMotta!

This seems interesting. I can already see some people saying stuff like "Stallone tries too hard to act differently so his character wouldn't be seen as Rocky" or some **** like that. I mean the character will propably be different from Rocky and thus Stallone has to act accordingly. You know?

Rocky Balboa vs Jake Lamotta, a cinematic main event!

*Stallone Impression*

"Hey, yo. It like, Rocky vs Raging Bull. Y'know what I mean? ADRIANNNN!"

(Sorry. Couldn't help myself)

I wonder if they'll get the rights to show clips from Raging Bull and Rocky to show the characters "in their prime".

Will only De Niro phone it in or both of them?

I find it funny that De Niro seems to liven up for action films these days, he was fun in Machete and Killer Elite, plus he was hilarious in the leaked trailer for this.

I'm certainly not going to tell you that you might still be able to find it if you look for 'Grudge Match Development Trailer'.

I laughed. I'll probably go check it out.

I didn't realize this was going to be so much of a comedy, in hindsight it looks like a good choice, grumpy old men meets The Bucket List.

Only just found out about this movie. Looking forward to it, now.

Looks like fun.

Even pushing 60, Kim Basinger's still drop dead gorgeous.

Yeah at their age, it's best to play it as a comedy. The premise doesn't really work as a drama.

If it was done dramatically one of the guys would end up dead at the end.

"What was Jesus like? Was he cool?"

:funny:

Bernthal as DeNiro's son, huh? I could buy it. He looks a little like Raging Bull DeNiro.

De Niro is hilarous in that trailer. I love angry yelling Bobby D.

Was that CGI de-aged Sly who announced he was retiring?

Anyway, looks great, Sly does it again!

I just remembered this is actually their second movie together after Copland.
