Guess when we will get our first "official" promo pictures

Just did some quick research and found that the first official X-3 photos came out on Dec. 3 2005.

Since X-3 had a late May release and FF-2 has a mid June release, my first guess would be toward the end of December. Since they'd probably like to get them out before everyone is distracted by the holidays, I'm guessing mid-December.

Yesterday it will be announced that Fox will release this movie tomorrow and do post production next year.

I'm not sure if you're talking FF or X-Men, but if you can slog through my lengthy thought process, I'll tell you what I'm thinking and see if it makes sense (your teaser reference may actually fit perfectly).

I was looking more at X-3 than the original FF. X-3 is a sequel and a recent Fox film (and a big success), so I expect Fox will use a similar strategy.

I think we did see FF promo shots early, but I think that was for a reason - we were seeing grainy spy shots at that time, and I think Fox was concerned that people would be disappointed with the images of the characters seen in less than ideal circumstances (that's less of a concern on this film since we've already seen them in the first film).

Yes, I was referring to the first movie F4. I have feeling we will see semi the same timeline as the first. I wouldn't be surprised if we see something very important in October. It may be an interview, promotional etc., but I think we will have something.
