REVOLVER

The movie is set to be released Autumn 2005, a exact date is not know yet. It s going to ****ing OWN. The director is Guy Ritchie (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch)

Plot:
Jake Green is a hotshot gambler, long on audacity and short on common sense. He's rarely allowed to play in any casino because he is a winner. Jake has taken in so much money over the years, he is the only client of his accountant and older brother Billy. One night, Jake, Billy and their other brother Joe are invited to sit in on a private game, where Jake is expected to lose to Dorothy Macha, a crime boss and local casino owner who can't play for squat, but always wins because people are too scared to beat him. Jake isn't afraid of Macha, and not only beats Dorothy in a quick game of chance, but takes every possible opportunity to insult the man. Jake and his brothers leave the game, and Macha puts out the order for a hit on Jake, who ends up working for and being protected by a pair of brothers, Avi and Zack, who are out to take Macha down.

Statham with hair....hehe
The only thing I've really heard is that they cut Madonnas scene out....wonder why?

Damn, that pic is beautiful!

I guess this will be the true test to see if Madonna is really a succubus.

Liotta Pwned!

You know, I've heard great things about Lock Stock as well as Snatch, still I've yet to see either. One of these days I think I'll just get off my butt and head to Blockbuster.

Shot in secrecy over ten weeks on the Isle Of Man, the filmed had wrapped just two hours before the director phoned Empire to give us the lowdown. 'It was a long one to write,' he says. 'Snatch and Lock, Stock took three months, but this one took about a year and a half.' And? What's it about? 'Let's just say it's about a gambling man who realises he's in for more than he thought.'
Like Ritchie's previous films, the script changed constantly throughout the writing process and then, just for laughs, metamorphosed completely a week before filming. 'It's a funny thing, writing. Particulary a script like this. Don't ask me what sort of genre it is because I'm left scratching my head. It was an endless process of tweaks, then for some reason it all just solidified'
Not only does the film put Ritchie's surreal humour on a back-burner ('It's a lot more serious than my other movies'), there's also no truth in the rumours that Mrs Ritchie, aka Madonna, has a cameo.
'No, she's not in it,' he insists. So the stories are made up? 'Completely made up.' He laughs. 'That's rare, isn't it?'

I actually think it's a good thing they cut Madonna's scene, not to offend Madonna, but I think she should stay out of her hubby's job. That would be like a boyfriend butting their nose in and trying to do my job when I can do it suffieciently well.

Looks good. Statham, Liotta and Guy Ritchie... I am SO there!

Whats the release date? Or is there one yet?
