A lot of people move to another country just for the money, doesn't mean they like it there.

I haven't been to the US so I can't say what anyone is like, but I don't know if you can just a whole country is more intelligent than another, especially when they are as similar as the UK and US. And I'm sure plenty of Brits talk about work and money over dinner.

I'm not too worried about her. To be honest, she may have a point about the average american IQ. As a rule, we don't pay attention to the important things that we should. We don't even know both of the candidates in elections or the issues half the time.

That said, do I think things are better in jolly ol Engaland? Not really. Neither group seems t realize that sacrifices must be made occasionally to live the lives we do, and that makes us both stupid.

I think she may be replying to amercians in general. Which is sad bc many people look at americans in the same exact way, as if we are a bunch of selfish,greedy,classless,idiots who watch too much reality tv and not enough cnn. Unfortunatley, we are the laughing stock of many countries, but what's really funny is the world has to ignore their own faults in order to laugh in the 1st place. If the world were high school, they'd try and classify the US as the spoiled brats and the dumb jocks. We may have our faults as a society, what what culture doesn't?
