Uh...Really? Every time I buy a metrocard for the subway here in NYC and Change is left over we're always blessed with a Dollar coin. Those Golden colored ones.

It's been working in Canada since 1987.....worked so well we got a two dollar con in 1996....and they are planning a 5 dollar coin....the 5 dollar coin doesn't sound as good to me.
