Halliburton Pleads Guilty to Destroying Oil Rig Accident Evidence

Now if only Texas can execute Haliburton and BP....after all , corporations are people.

Scum, all of them. I very rarely trust big companies word. I am just glad justice could finally be done. There are many companies that get away with fraud/etc. daily. It's nice to see them actually step up and admit to their actions.

So they get the equivalent of a slap on the wrist and get to go on their merry way. Since corporations are people, I expected jail time and harsher penalties, not this weak ********.

The $4 billion fine is 1/6th of what they make each year. For manslaughter. Wow, I guess if I ever get convicted of manslaughter I'll just have to pay a $6,300 fine and I'll be free to go.

Man, this garbage ticks me off
