Console sales goes to the Wii, but game sales goes to the 360. Not to say that Nintendo's games would sell well on the MS platform (they'd tank) but it takes two to tango. MS makes money off the DS.They have no reason to, do they? The Wii's still performing like the Second Coming to video games, and the DS is doing remarkably well, too.
You're looking for Serious Sam and Painkiller.Smash Bros.! That game is going to be huge.
I never really got into Halo. Actually I haven't really found a FPS I liked since the N64 days. They are all so complicated now.

I imagine Nintendo might get a boost on some games, like Metroid Prime, if it were on the 360. That's just a straight-up FPS, and the 360 loves those. Still, I don't think porting their games or characters over to the 360 would really make Nintendo much money.Console sales goes to the Wii, but game sales goes to the 360. ...WTF? You actually have a vs match with a fighting game vs a first person shooter? That's like comparing apples and pizza...sure, they're both food, but come on, they arent comparable because they're so different. This is stupid.
This is actually quite tough. The user base of the Wii will be higher than the 360's by then, but Halo is Halo. I go with Halo if I had to bet. Microsoft will move the most software this year and get a pretty penny from publishing everything they do this year. Nintendo will move consoles like crazy. Next year, wow that will be interesting. What do you guys think will happen next year?
You can compare them in terms of personal preference and anticipation, too.
The trend continues, and eventually publishers see once again that the games that sell on Nintendo's consoles are Nintendo games, and that their money is better spent on 360/PS3 games... eventually this generation becomes what every generation for a Nintendo system has been since the N64: Dried up 3rd Party support and months (a year) between good releases.
This time they will of course have the marketshare pinned, but marketshare is only appealing to Publishers for as long as it means the games sell the best.
Last time I checked, the Wii only had eight titles that passed the "million sold" mark, whereas the Xbox360 has about 20.Well the Wii has the marketshare and third party sales base in Japan, so you can count on continued Japanese support. 3rd Parties are having some of the better overall third party sales since the PS2 boom era.
