There's a project at school where we're drawing up plans on manufacturing birdhouses and I don't know anything about birdhouses.

My first step is trying to figure out what kind of material to use. I have some ideas, but I'd like to know yours.

Particularly, what's usually the best material to make a birdhouse out of?

I mean, of course wood, but what kind of wood and why?

Use some kind of hardwood (Pine, cedar, white wood, etc.), anything less and it's likely to break.

Cover your dick in peanut butter, roll it in birdseed, and you're golden.

...What?

When I fianlly buy my house I'll have a bunch of birdhouses, hummingbird feeders, bird bath and a bat house or two.

Some ideas, maybe.

Actually-this thread got me wondering if anyones tried to make their own fishtank?
Ive seen some very cool step-by-steps around the web and Ive been wanting to tackle one because I have all the tools...Just that it all looks way harder than they make it sound

i want a birdhouse that doubles as a guillotine

I made a birdhouse once. It was probably the best that's ever been made. I mean, all the other birds were totally jeolous of the bird that found it. But they were still kind enough to help him paint it.

they painted it white

...bird poop is white.:o

Birds are friendly and generous.

Like your mom.

Yes, exactly, minus the white **** and flying part.

How do you know what color your mom's poo is? :csad:

Looks like someone didn't even get past 1st grade spelling. :(
