Has anyone had any trouble with their copy of Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning unrated edition? I had a copy that paused near the end of the movie and wouldnt do anything. I tried it on another dvd player and instead of pausing the picture scrambled. I took it back to best buy and got another copy but this one does it to.

Why would you buy that film? Now I'm not one of the endless people who haven't seen a film and will bash it, now I've seen it, it could possibly be worth a rental if you're fan but definitely not to buy it

My copy of the TCM:TB had some slight pauses throughout the movie aside from the layer switch but still played fine. Do you have another dvd player to try it in?

I have two dvd players in my apartment and I tried both. In on it pauses completely and won't do anything, in the other the picture scrambles instead of pausing. I know it isnt my dvd players cause iv never had any problems with them before. The part were it pauses is [blackout]were leatherface cuts that dudes face off and puts it on and heads up the stairs out of the basement.[/blackout]

Yeah, I have a problem with it, when I push play it shows a really crappy movie.

My TCM:TB unrated works fine... you might want to buy it at a differant store.

Maybe he bought it because he has a different taste in movies than you, and enjoyed the film, despite its flaws, or he's a big fan of the series.
