I like the hasbro spidey toys better than toybiz. Toybiz had good Lord of the rings toys. Not spider-man though. The second line had a hundred spideys.

explain your reasoning. honestly im sick of these ****ty movie figs. toybiz was the best.

As far as the movie goes, toybiz was superior.

Marvel Legends I'm on the fence about right now.

Hasbro just sucks with the movie figures.

I thought they had done great with Ghost Rider but then I was told that Toy Biz made those before they left and Hasbro put them out.

Hasbro is making poor looking 5 inch pieces of crap. There's no excuse for it.
I like how they package the stuff, and I like how they don't make the villain figures impossible to find, but they make the figures so poorly.:down

Toybiz is better.

I liked the 1st spidey movie toys. Not the 2nd movie figures. It was a hundred Spider-man and Doc ock.

there were only two dock ocks and tehres always a bunch of spideys. listen hasbro stinks. legends packaging and prices are worse for hasbro but yeah im not sure which figures are better

For little kids, I think that Hasbro is better. For serious toy collectors, Toybiz is better.

So ... I guess that Hasbro wins? Because toys ARE meant for children ...

Action figures aren't always though. There are alot of collectors. Alot.

idk ive seen kids not like toys too and then not buy them. more so with all those armored pr and batmans tho

are u talking in past tense? listen if any company wants its collectors happy its mcfarlane. spiderman is second i think. but thats gone now with hasbro

ToyBiz by far. When I got to the store for my Spidey movie figures and saw that freakin purple Venom, I bout $h!t a brick. I haven't bought any of their Legends figures, but I am highly unhappy with the movie figs. Terrible articulation (shouldn't Venom be able to do whatever a Spider-man can? Give him ankle joints!), ridiculous scale (ToyBiz movie Goblin dwarfs Spidey), and the Wal-mart exclusive Spidey's "Super-metal finish" makes him look like a flying piece of poo. ToyBiz's Legends Showdown figures offered more detail and articulation at 4 inches! I hope Hasbro does a Legends style run of Spidey 3 toys for collectors.
I don't know what Marvel was thinking with its toy license.

well hasbro isnt that bad but yes there is a ml type spiderman 3 line coming. but the le spidey from spiderman 3 is ok i thought. venom is pretty bad tho

I just think that a character like Spider-man really benefits from ALL the articulation they can put on him and ToyBiz really hit the nail on the head. For YEARS I've been lamenting the fact that Spidey's hands were always stuck in the web pose. The first Spidey toy I got with finger joints damn near brought me to tears. Hasbro just didn't learn anything about what made ToyBiz's toys so fun to play with AND pose.

YES YES YES! i just looked at my ml spiderman from toybiz and **** its nice. the finger mobility rocks
