Lady and gentlemen, it is time for the 2006 Hype! Action Figure Awards with your awards master....ME!

2006 was a big year for action figures. One of the biggest yet! So here's how this works. I nominated some stuff, you guys vote. If you feel like something should be added, feel free to add! Just make sure you put in "WRITE IN:" before the figure or line you add in. I will try to add write ins to this list and people can change their votes accordingly if they want. The deadline for voting will be...whenever I get around to it. Probably 2 weeks from now or so.
Also, use www.cornerstorecomics.com to check out certain figures you may not be familiar with (DCD, SOTA, etc). www.marvellegends.net also has a full index of all marvel related figures.

X-Men and Marvel Legends, while they are the same brand, are considered seperate lines, or "sister lines". Nominating the best "line" works just fine. It's like saying which line is better, Comic Hellboy or Movie Hellboy? Same company, but 2 different ways to put out interpretations of source material. Marvel Legends and X-Men are also very different in their approaches. Marvel Legends is closer to comic accuracy and X-Men takes a good number of liberties on some of their figures. A collector's line and a kids line. So, I'm nominating them as seperate lines. Get it?

meh... i group all legend figs together though.. cuz fantastic four had an amazing dragon man... and spidey had shocker... and x-men had the storm repaint as well as avalanche... but over all there essentially marvel legends... and marvel legends produces "more" of the best figs so its a big conundrome

*update* I added a new category which lumps all of marvel into what I'll call the BRAND. So now there is a best brand category. I also broke up best action figure line so things weren't lumped together.

No, not since they banned us from bringing personal electronics. I wasn't one of the idiots though, I kept my stuff away from patients and I used headphones to listen to stuff. There were idiots that would bring they're laptops and play music loud or have movies on portable DVD players or peopla on their BlueTooth earpieces just talking away and just absurd use of stuff all out in the open in front of patients. Now I use the work comps.
