Is anyone else thinking they'd be genuinely surprised if Hart and Cohle make it out of this alive? There is such a sense of dread swarming over all this.

Edit: Considering their actions. They've already crossed the point of no return.

I've been kinda getting that feeling. I'll be surprised if they both make it out at least.

Goldblum would be our season 2 box man.:cwink: That would be something...

Anyway, more goodies.

I'd like to see Goldblum and Bale.

Goldblum & Walkin.

Anyway, guess some of you were right about the lawnmower man. Although this whole situation seems to be much bigger than just one person. It seems to be a deeply rooted cult type thing.

I too would be surprised if both Hart & Cohle make it out.

I don't think Cohle is gonna make it out.

Keaton would be a good actor for this show.

Keaton is a damn good choice. Keaton and Goldblum would be the shiznit. Always wondered how they'd be on screen together. Make it happen HBO!

Keaton and Goldblum would be f***in incredible.

Right?? I don't think televisions could handle that level of awesome. Screens would crack from the machismo oozing out of it. Tv stands would crumble under the sheer weight of the charisma

A lot of people are upset about the fact that the cast isn't returning next season, but thats the most comforting thing about the show for me. There is no shortage of brilliant actors, and changing it up every season prevents it from going stale and gives them a lot more freedom with the cases. We can have a 1970s zodiac type case, we can have a 1940s case, a victorian era case, a 1890s western setting, really, the possibilities are endless.

The cast can be replaced its the writer that would worry me if he wasn't returning.

And yes to Cranston! Why not have Cranston and Paul reunited? I'm sure HBO would love to have them and they would only have to commit to 8 episodes.

I've never seen a show or even a movie where they've so convincingly aged the characters before.

No kidding. I didn't know how old McConaughey was so I was trying to figure out if they made him look older in 2012 or made him look younger for 1995.

While i agree they've done an excellent job with the make up on TD some of you need to see more shows and movies.
