i was expecting a little more to go down tonight, expected more to be revealed....guess i'll have to wait till next week. they got a lot of ground to cover...

I just looked at it as the calm before the storm.

I think that was definitely the creepiest episode so far. That video tape is going to give me nightmares.

Good way of putting it. Tonight's episode was definitely a slow burn, hard to believe there's only one left to go -a ton of stuff will happen next week.

Harrelson's reaction to whatever was on the tape was fantastic.

Honestly, I found the focus on the lawn mower guy almost comical, the way he kept talking after the detectives left.

Someone said he was the man with scars, they were right.

Yeah that was me...It feels good to do the detective work on this.

Hope Rust and Marty are proud of me.

Lawnmower guy was too suspicious to begin with. I am curious how they wrap this up next week

I laughed when they drove off. That really can be a problem in the South. Ask someone, a total stranger, a simple question and they wanna tell you their life story.

I loved the ending with the lawn mower guy. The line "My family's been here forever" as he mows the lawn as a circle. Just really tied everything together. It was a very subtle ending.

I thought this episode was awesome. I'm gonna rewatch all the episodes this week to prepare for the finale

Another fantastic episode that made feel like I figured something out for once in advance! That tape creeped me the hell out.

Yeah, I laughed a little at that, too. Loved and the pull back with the Townes Van Zandt song though.

I know, right? I thought we'd be closer to the end but it seems like we're still wondering what the heck is going on. Or at least I am, lol. :p

Funny, I hadn't noticed his face much the first time they showed him and neither did Rust because he never reacted even when he was talking right at the guy. :(

This show just does not disappoint. It's only been what 7 episodes? And I'm so invested in these characters.

It sucks that it's a one off season with these two.

Kind of a good thing though. At least we don't have to worry about it going downhill years later. If you dislike later seasons, at least it will be different characters/actors so you can just stick with the first season if you want.

The bar has been set and I feel for whoever follows.

Agreed, did not put it together that he was the green eared spaghetti monster or the man with the scars though. Somebody explained the green ears with green hearing protectors landscapers often wear.

Anybody think that Marty's ex-father in-law is in on it? It seems like his daughter was obviously exposed or sexually abused due to her behavior. He seemed like someone who was wealthy and powerful and might be connected to similar people involved in this cult.

It's crazy how much this show has covered in 7 episodes, more than some do in 4-6 seasons.

I'm sure it's been said at this point, but Marty's daughter:
From her sexual tendencies(the group sort) to the doll set to the paintings she did when she was young.

Makes me so curious about her grand father and or just which church marty put her into back when he was all about doing what folks do.

Can't wait till the mother finds out. I'm also curious what Rust meant about tying off his life and moving into the next thing, sounds grim.

Rust is going to Spike Spiegel his way out of life. One way ticket.

Sounds like Rust wants to die to be honest...What else does he have in this world?

Would be nice to see him go where Andy Dufresne at the end of Shawshank Redemption and call it a end. :)
