oh, and i'm just gonna put this here...

What's makes their inclusion random? Are you referring to the older daughter acting out and getting caught with those 2 boys? They were showing Marty's home life and the things he was dealing with.
Early on she recreated the cult rapes with Barbie dolls.
first the scene with the dolls, and then the scene with the boys. this gives the daughter a recurring arc throughout the show. the fact that it doesnt tie into the plot as a whole makes it random. but whatever....everything else about the show was amazing. i ain't even gonna worry about it. just weird, is all...
Yeah I remember now. Ehh not really random. Chalk up the doll recreation to her hearing or seeing things on the news or from people in the town. And then the 2 boys really nothing too crazy there. Teenage girl being adventurous and exploring. Not really random.
That part where they flipped each other at the hospital gave me so much life.
Marty's (in front of his family) and Rust' (when talking about his daughter) breakdowns were acting highlights tonight.
Anyone else entering the madness from HBO GO? ****ing **** won't work right now and I feel like I'm going to murder the next person I see.
OH GOD I NEED THIS
Adventurous? She was caught in the middle of a threesome in the back of a car... That's a bit more than "adventurous" when regarding a 15 year old girl.
It's not just that though. The dolls, the drawings she made in school that alarmed her teacher, her adopting the black clothing and withdrawing from her family... It all smacks of some sort of sexual abuse early in her childhood. It's a misdirect to lead us to believe Marty's daughter was involved in some sort of way... But it doesn't necessarily mean nothing happened to her, just that it had nothing to do with the case.
You don't think a 15 year old girl having sex with two guys in the back of a car is adventurous? Or a way for her to stick it to her parents, or a way for her to feel cool or wanted. Come on man haha.

What a epic and amazing show...Will be forever one of the best seasons ever. I was so caught up with Mathew's acting in the end that I was more into his emotions then his speech about Light vs Dark.
What did that all mean by the way?
Obviously the show ended ambigously with the FBI saying that Tuttle family is not involved...I guess if there is a complaint it is there and the writer can expand on this story if he wants in the future. For now, I think the ending was very nice.
That lead up to the bad guy Errol through carcosa was crazy. I guess he is the yellow king right? or was it the [blackout] old man dying in the cabin? [/blackout]
who was that again
Stop whining & crying about the daughter. She was just there to show how Marty wasn't the best father. She didn't recreate the homicide scene. She was just playing homicide like her daddy. She also explained the drawings. Some kids at school bet her to do it. If that isn't enough. The mother explained as well.
There is nothing to wah wah about here. Move on.
Great finale. Loved it.
[BLACKOUT]Damn. The detail of those backgrounds reminded me of The Last of Us. Someone needs to get some awards for set design.
Rust cracked me up with "are we getting engaged?"
[BLACKOUT]So, was Lawnmower Man supernatural? I mean, I figured it was Rust hallucinating, but he took several shots to bring down.[/BLACKOUT]
One hell of an episode all around either way.
