HDTV Picture Settings

I have a Vizio 48" LED TV. I really like it but, there are times when the red is just overpowering. I'll lose details in the red or it looks pinkish to me. This is only when watching TV. It doesn't do it on games or even the cable guide. Can anyone offer suggestions?
