It's a pretty good movie. Saw it this morning on TBS. I hadn't seen it in a while. I had no idea it was co-written by Judd Apatow. :wow: I wish they made more movies like this. Not movies about fat kids, but I mean kid movies with some edge. Apatow should start working on one. Oh, and Ben Stiller's character is funny cause its basically the same character from Dodgeball.

Easily Ben Stiller's best performance.

They don't make kids movies like this anymore.

His character in this movie is the same as Dodgeball. This movie is a prequel. :o

Tony is so much better than White. Tony's intro is absolutely hilarious.

I LOVE this movie! It has been a favorite of mine for a long time. Stiller is great in this. lol

The fat british kid is the funniest, IMO.

These are the movies Apatow has written or co-written.

Heavyweights (1995) · Celtic Pride (1996) · The 40 Year-Old Virgin (2005) · Fun with Dick and Jane (2005) · Knocked Up (2007) · Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story (2007) · The Pineapple Express (2008) · You Don't Mess with the Zohan (2008)

and the television shows
I really like his Leno impression from Ben Stiller Show

The Ben Stiller Show (1992 - 1993) · The Critic (1994 - 1995) · The Larry Sanders Show (1993 - 1998) · Freaks and Geeks (1999 - 2000) · Undeclared (2001 - 2002)

I still hate NBC for cancelling Freaks and Geeks. Such an awesome show.

I love when he unloads the Pez despenser like a gun. And the Pez hitting the floor sound like bullets. Hilarious.

^ Thats how you can tell the real fans from the wagon jumpers....

anyways, Stiller sucks. He is only funny when he is playing a bad guy just take a look at this flick, Dodgeball and happy gilmour.

There's just no balance these days. Back in the day we had over the top and fantasy oriented movies for kids but at the same time there were grounded movies that kids could relate to as well.

Pretty hilarious film, I haven't seen it in ages though. Might have to make a purchase, it can't be more the $5

"Oh look! A deli meat!"
Some of the funnier lines:
"Attention campers. Lunch has been cancelled due to lack of hustle. Deal with it."-Tony

"Congratulations, Mr. Simms. You are the fattest boy in camp." -Lars

"Let me make something very clear: The PerkiSystem does not work with cheaters like Gerald Garner. OK? How can I sell an infomercial about fat kids who can't keep their piggy little snouts shut? Hmm? Who's gonna buy that, huh?" -Tony

Those are funny quote
The whole movie is great.

ill check this one out. disney movies are always good for a laugh or two.

Kid movies were so much better in the `90s.

I'd say the 90s had absolutely NOTHING on the 80s. There was Goonies, Monster Squad, Adventures In Babysitting... Those three alone had more balls than all kid movies from the 90s and 00s combined.

I mean, could you really see a movie nowadays where a 4 year old actually says "Don't be such a chickens#!t", when John McClane himself can't say "motherf**ker"?

yea, but we also had this:

so the two decades balance themselves out. :o
