yes please is this a series pilot by any chance?Dr. Fate said:I think the DVD will come out after the TV debut. Do you want actual plot spoilers?
A professor of folklore opens a forbidden scroll and becomes possessed by the ancient Japanese demons of Thunder and Lightning, who seek to return and dominate our world. The Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense sends Hellboy and a team of agents to investigate, but when Hellboy picks up a samurai sword, he literally disappears into a weird wonderland of Japanese legends, ghosts and monsters. Meanwhile, BPRD agents Kate Corrigan and Russell Thorne are on the trail of the possessed professor to bring Hellboy back.

CConn said:I actually think I might prefer an animated Hellboy to live action.
CConn said:What? I think one of the best things about Hellboy is Mignola's art, which is, obviously, more translatable to animation than live action.
CConn said:No, it isn't. Still, I think I might prefer it to the movie's art direction and use of colors.
CConn said:That really depends. I mean, if Jesus and Mignola are just producers, of course not. If Mignola's on art, and Jesus is scoring the film, it's a completely different tale.
With that said, you know I've never been a "big" fan of the movie. Again, not that it's bad, but it could be topped for me. Personally.
