There was a thread here with a link to Aronofsky's Batman: Year One concept art. The search function DOES NOT work, I don't know why, it loads and then the screen remains white. Could anybody post a link to that thread or website?

THX.

Cool are these real concept art from Aronofsky's year one because I heard when he was on the project they never got a chance to make any concept art for the movie. Also do you guys think that it would of been a good idea to bring in the grey and black suit, instead of the all black rubber suit?

Oh Mr. Hyperbole, you can't possibly believe they all suck.

Sorry, I forgot the ;)... I only meant that if I said something like "all the rubber suits sucked" people would be saying that I was biased.

Now I can understand how you might not care for the majority of those Y1 concepts—and I agree—only one or two are viable... but this one is interesting:

… at least in a classical sense.

And this:

… is ripped directly from the pages of Y1, and there is nothing ‘all-suck’ about it, even if one holds an anti-cloth bias.

Now you might no agree that the latter would work on film, but you can’t possibly believe it “sucks”?

are there bigger pics of the first two links?

would have been a great idea, i think. It worked, it was believable, and it rocked. A rubber suit would have been very out of place in this movie, had it happened.

Man I loved that art concepts, but man Arnofsky and Miller's Batman: Year One script drifted Far, far away from the source material. But Arkofsky recognized that and knew that the film wouldn't be made.
I'm with Jett from Bof on this if Nolan quits after the third film, get Arnofsky, I believe he could do a good job now.

yeah, i have to agree with you. now that the franchise is 'on-the-right-track" I'd be cool with Arnofsky taking a stab at it. I'm sure he'd be more willing now too... the pressure has been taken off. What does worry me is this: no major superhero has swapped directors yet... Spiderman - Rami, Batman - Nolan, Superman - Singer (most likely.) Wonder who will be the first to go.
