Help me! Spawn related

I miss my old Spawn comics from the 90's. But how do I get into the book again? It's a mess! Did Neil Gaiman remove Cogliostro and Angela from the books? How do I read all the old issues in trades and get the whole picture?

Can I pick up some later trades and "get in cheap" and still know what's going on?

hell you could probably get the single issues in a lot of 50 cent bins.

I'm pretty sure that have the large TPBs for them out. Last time I went to my local comic shop they had volumes 3 & 4 of Spawn issues. Check Amazon.

I´m having the same problem, the trades that had issue 9 are no longer available, try to buy it on ebay.
