help: windows media wont read blank CDs

OK so Windows Media 11 will read and rip my cds, but wont burn them to a CD-r .
any thoughts?

Maybe you should contact Microsoft or check the website to see if there is a plugin that you need to download. Did it used to work before you installed Windows Media 11? Do you have any other programs on your computer like Real Player that you could use to burn music to CD?

Yeah try realplayer.

Then check make sure the disk is in the right tray and they check see if they are the normal ones you use (+ or - ) can make a diffrence
