I'm trying to save photos to a CD for an intreview. Anytime I try to save the photos to a CD it says: A recordable CD drive is not dedected. Does anyone know how to fix this problem so I can save my photos to a CD?

Looks like you do not have a recordable CD drive and you can't burn data onto a CD unless you have one.

Are you sure you have a CD burner? And are you sure it's installed, and working under your current windows installation? If so, simply right click and select "send to", and the correct CD burner drive, and when finished, click the little balloon/icon in the lower corner and follow the on screen directions. If that isn't working, neither is your drive.

Thats weird because it was working a few weeks ago. Is there a download i can get or software I can buy? I'm might have to save them to floppy discs.

Why don't you use USB pen drives? They're more convenient, easy to use and have loads of space.

This actually goes into the tech support forum...

Try going into hardware manager and deleting your cd-rwr device and then reboot and let the system redetect it and reinstall the drivers. This sometimes fixes the problem with this kind of issue.
