Over three decades after he began his career there, "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and "Coraline" director Henry Selick is returning to the Mouse House.
Variety reports that Selick has signed an exclusive long-term deal to write and direct stop-motion features for Disney/Pixar.
The films will be based on both original ideas and literary properties and puts him back in business with long-time friend John Lasseter. Despite Pixar's focus on CG animation, Selick will continue to produce toons using his trademark stop-motion style.
Selick working with Pixar? Sounds like a dream team for animated movies.
