This thing became some kind of pop culture phenomenon last year, now the sequel returns tonight. Any of you kiddies into it? I guess if you want to check out Ashley Tisdale and that Vanessa Hudgens chick in bikinis the whole while. (They're legal, dammit.)

I actually enjoy High School Musical, albiet in the way that I enjoy MST3K. The sequel should be good for a laugh.

This is so far better than the first to me.

The opening number of West Side Story alone blows anything I've seen from this out of the water.

I wasnt a fan of the first one but the sequel is totally an upgrade from the first film. Acting and songs were so much better and enjoyable. I might even buy this on dvd when it comes out.

It is an upgrade. I was impressed with the choreography this time around for a TV Movie musical. Very sharp and crisp.

Vanessa needs to be removed from the cast. She can't sing, act or dance. The other main 5 cast members at least have 2 of the 3 necessities.

Most of the songs sounded weird like they were singing through a computer or something :

If you took all the music out of this movie except the talent show song it could of been a totally different movie.

Vanessa Anne Hugens can't sing. And why did the Kelsi actress look like a grandma majority of the movie and commericials?
